It’s always a fun Wednesday in The Zone because it’s the day Wally Hall is in with us thanks to our friends at Deltic Timber. We discussed the story today about Alabama running back Altee Tenpenny who was arrested over spring break in his hometown of North Little Rock for possession of a whole 2 grams of Marijuana. This brought up a lengthy debate about what this means for Tenpenny. Our own phone screener Matty T. had some opinions on this based on his own personal experience but at the end of the day he’s not the host and never will be. So HA!

The callers did seem to care however and we do care about them. In this next segment we have plenty of callers who want to weigh in on the issue. The bottom line is that this was a news story and we are a news organization so we are going to report on what is relevant to you and the community. At the end of the day, that’s what we are all about.

Of course we gots to get in to some of that basketball talk. In this segment Pat updates on the NBA. We also have some super fun facts about the NCAA that you may not be aware of. We are full of it today!

On to a different kind of grass, it’s that time of year again to start working on your yard to keep up appearances. You don’t want your yard to be nothing but weeds and make people think Jesse Pinkman lives there. That’s where the brothers Kyle and Kent from Sander’s Ground Essentials come in. They were in studio to tell us exactly what they offer and why ol’ J-bird needed some Lime on his yard.

From Bleacher Report we talk to Barrett Sallee. This also provides us a great opportunity to talk more about Tenpenny.

From Sync Weekly our friend Nate Olson was in to tell us about the new issue where he reviews all the local desserts around the state. He also announced the winner of the beer bracket and kicked everyone’s butts at B-day Trivia.

In our Zone Segment of the Day we have a little something we call “All in the Family”.

As always, we thank you for listening to The Zone starring Justin Acri and featuring “The Shoota” Pat Bradley!
