Pet of the Week – October 10

Cost Plus Furniture presents Stevie!

Cost Plus Furniture Warehouse presents Stevie, a 10 year old dachshund terrier mix available for adoption at the Little Rock Animal Village.

Have you always wanted a low rider with scruffy eyebrows and a fancy red mohawk? Then feast your eyes upon Stevie! She’s a one of a kind, designer mix who still has a ton of spunk, loves a walk, enjoys saying hi to other doggos, and most of all loves snuggles and belly rubs.

She appears to have had a bout of flea allergies and could use a good medicated bath and some TLC for her skin. It doesn’t seem to bother her though!

Well, what are you waiting for? There won’t be another one like her, and she’s a keeper! Go see Stevie at the Little Rock Animal Village. Just $90 covers her adoption, including her vetting and city license.

The Little Rock Animal Village is full of wonderful dogs and cats, young and old. Visit them Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm at 4500 Kramer Street off South University, right behind Cost Plus Furniture Warehouse. To inquire, call 501-376-3067 and ask about Animal #49247.

Thank you so much to Cost Plus Furniture Warehouse in Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Malvern for helping The Little Rock Animal Village save homeless pets like Stevie!

Pet of the Week – Oct 3

Cost Plus Furniture presents Archie!

We thought we would switch things up this week and showcase Archie who was adopted from The Little Rock Animal Village!

My husband and I had been looking for a dog to add to our family.  We couldn’t decide exactly what we wanted: small dog, medium size dog, long hair, short hair, oh the choices!! I was always looking on websites for the “perfect dog” but couldn’t seem to find what I was looking for.  One afternoon, I was on Facebook and The Buzz came across my feed with the pet of the week.  When I saw this face and read the story, I knew I had to meet this little guy.  The first thing I did was forward this to my husband who also agreed.  A day or so later, we went to the shelter where Archie was and asked to see him.  As soon as they brought him out, we knew he was the one!

Archie is a senior dog who still has a lot of spunk and a sweet spirit. We are all so blessed to have found each other. He has made our already great little family even better.  He loves to be held, even sometimes like a baby!  His favorite thing is to be close to those he loves.  He prefers to sleep in his own bed and will even put himself to sleep at night. He lets us know when he needs to go outside to potty.  His personality has really begun to shine through and really enjoys the outdoors.  We don’t know a lot about his past,  but I know he will never go a day without love!!
